Meet the Minis

Romeo

Meet Romeo, a charming bay gelding and retired miniature show horse, born on May 12, 2007. With an impressive collection of AMHA World and AMHR National Championship titles, Romeo now shares his gentle spirit with the tiniest of riders. He’s as sweet as his name suggests and is known for his calm, slow pace—perfect for little beginners. When he’s not giving pony rides, Romeo delights in cart driving, always with a twinkle in his eye.

Tatty

Tatty is a golden-hearted palomino gelding, born on April 13, 2012. A decorated show horse with many AMHA World and AMHR National titles, he’s now enjoying his role as a loving and patient teacher. Tatty adores working with young riders and helping them discover the joy of horseback and cart driving with his kind demeanor and gentle guidance.

Sterling

Sterling is our playful buckskin gelding, born on May 21, 2016. With a natural gift for connecting with kids, Sterling brings both fun and focus to every riding and cart driving lesson. His goofy personality and love for laughter make him a barn favorite—he’s always up for a good time while teaching valuable skills along the way.

Rocky

Rocky is a handsome grey pinto Shetland Pony gelding, born on June 3, 2010. A multiple AMHR Reserve National Champion in both cart driving and in-hand hunter, Rocky brings energy and enthusiasm to every lesson. He’s as cuddly as a teddy bear but has a pep in his step when it’s time to ride. If your child enjoys a fast-paced walker, Rocky is your boy! He especially lights up during cart driving lessons—his absolute favorite activity.

Cayenne

Cayenne is a beautiful bay pinto Shetland Pony mare, born on May 28, 2011. With top-five national titles in cart driving, Cayenne had a shining show career before settling into a relaxed and peaceful retirement at Sleepy Hollow Ranch. She now spends her days enjoying the good life and soaking up all the love from our visitors.

Isabel

Born on June 5, 2020, in Boulder, Colorado, Isabel is our youngest and sassiest Shetland Pony mare. Named after the stunning mountain town of San Isabel, she’s full of curiosity and playfulness. Isabel loves frolicking in the pasture and spending time with her mom, Cayenne. Though she’s still growing up, she’s already won hearts with her spunky spirit.

Pixie

Pixie is our tiny treasure—a miniature donkey with a big heart, born in April 2011. Though she’s the smallest of our herd, she’s also the fiercest little guardian, always keeping watch over her pony pals. Gentle, affectionate, and endlessly sweet, Pixie is the soul of our mini family.
